Terms of Use

I reserve all rights to the artwork I create, including original pieces, commissioned work, and reproductions. This means I retain the ability to make prints or other forms of reproduction from any piece of my art.

As a collector or buyer, you may not reproduce the artwork in any format without my written consent. If the artwork is featured in a magazine, blog, or other media, I simply request that credit is given to me as the artist.

When you purchase an original, you are welcome to display it proudly in your home or business. However, reselling or reproducing the piece for profit requires my written permission.

Return + Exchange Policy

All packaging and shipping of prints and originals are handled by Canvas Plus, ensuring your purchase arrives safely and in pristine condition. If you receive a damaged print or canvas, please send a picture of the damaged piece immediately to nicolinemannart@gmail.com, and I will arrange for a replacement to be shipped as soon as possible. Please report damages within 7 days of receiving your item. Replacements can only be provided once.

Original artworks may be returned within 14 days of receipt under the following conditions:

  • The artwork is in its original condition and packaging.

  • The return is due to an error on my part (e.g., wrong item sent or significant discrepancy in the description).

  • Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, and it must be sent with tracked shipping.

  • If the return is for any other reason, such as change of mind, the return will be accepted at the buyer's expense for return shipping and will be subject to approval.

Commissioned pieces are one of a kind, and therefore, all sales are final and nonrefundable.

Prints

All prints are produced by Canvas Plus in Ladysmith, BC, on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada.

  • Paper prints are printed on archival fine art paper.

  • Canvas prints are produced on archival Crystalline Satin/Gloss Canvas for a vibrant and durable finish.

Please note that slight color variations may occur between what you see on your screen and the final print due to screen settings.

Currency/Payment

Prices are set in Canadian dollars (CAD). I accept the following payment methods:

  • PayPal and Stripe for domestic and international orders.

  • Etransfer for Canadian customers (if preferred).

Shipping

I ship worldwide, and all shipping is handled by Canvas Plus using trusted carriers like Canada Post, Canpar, and Purolator, with tracking numbers provided. Any customs duties or taxes for international orders are the responsibility of the buyer. These charges are determined by the destination country and are separate from the shipping cost.

Care of Your Prints and Originals

Paper prints: Keep them in their original protective sleeve until you are ready to frame and mat them behind glass.

  • Canvas prints and originals: These are ready to hang right away, no framing required!

Try to avoid placing any artwork in direct sunlight to maintain its vibrancy over time.

You can expect slight colour differences from the prints you receive and what you see on your screen. Different computers/laptops portray slightly different colours.

Privacy policy

I will only use your shipping and billing address, and contact information for the following purposes:

  • To communicate with you about your order.

  • To fulfill your order (Canada Post requires email and phone numbers for international parcels).

  • For legal reasons (such as paying taxes).

Taxes

As a small business in Canada, I am currently not required to collect GST/HST under Canadian tax law. All listed prices are final and do not include taxes.
